Ballet Flats & Lady Like

Recuerdo que cuando salieron los ballet flats, ballerinas o manoletinas (como les llamaban en España donde yo vivía en esa época) fuí la más feliz del mundo, eran tan cómodas como traer tenis pero mucho más lindas y me hacían sentir como una bailarina en un día normal.  Creo que ya les había contado que desde pequeña bailaba jazz lírico y estos zapatos me recordaban una de mis grandes pasiones. Por eso cuando vi por 1era vez las ballerinas con lazos de Miu Miu como se podrán imaginar enamorada inmediatamente, pero  en estos momentos comprar unas ballerinas de ese precio no es la mejor opción. Luego de unos meses y cuando ya pensaba en hacerme las mías, Zara sacó la versión low cost y sabía que tenía que tenerlas. En tiendas nunca las ví, entonces las pedí online y cuando llegaron a mi casa fui la más feliz otra vez!!

Para el outfit de hoy quería regresar a algo muy Lady Like en tonos pastel y que mejor que esta falda midi rosa, que por su textura gruesa puede usarse perfecto para estos días en que no hace ni tanto calor ni tanto frío, combinada con una tshirt y mi bolso rosa pastel de Kate Spade que ya han visto en otros posts. Quería algo sencillo, fácil de usar, pero que me hiciera sentir como una bailarina y que resaltará las ballerinas, y creo que al final lo logre. Por cierto les cuento que estas fotos las tomó mi esposito en un parque cercano a nuestra casa, fue una sesión bella y muy divertida donde pasamos más tiempo juntos y práctico sus skills de fotografo!. Cuentenme que les parece, ¿les gusta esta versión low cost de los ballet flats de Miu Miu? ¿Se los pondrían?

I remember when ballet flats first came out, where a huge change in fashion and it took me a second to fall for them, because where as comfortable as sneakers but so much cuter. In those days I used to lived in Spain and walk a lot, so this shoes were like made on heaven for me, also make me feel like a ballerina (I believe I have told you about how I used to dance Jazz since I was 11 years old) and remind me one of my greatest passions in life: dancing!. So you can picture that when this year Miu Miu came out with their beautiful ballet flats I fall in love again but let’s face it, I couldn’t spend that much on shoes right now, and then Zara came with their low cost version and I knew I have to have them. I look for them in stores but never find it and in the end I order them online. When they came to my doorstep I was so so happy, I even snap chat them at that second!

And so, for today’s outfit post I want it to wear my new ballet flats with something very Lady Like, cute, in pastel colors, and I went for this pale pink midi skirt option and wear it with a simple t shirt and my pastel pink Kate Spade handbag, I want the ballet flats to have the main role.
